Mitty's Cool Page
I like minecraft!!
Everyone knows the two-week or something phase you go through, but the last time I had that was months ago. But not as in I haven't picked up the game since, but instead I play it on a couple of times a week basis!!! It actually makes it a lot more fun to me. If I play it every day for a week I think I just get burnt out, rather than planning something cool and sitting out from it for a bit.
There's also MODULAR BUILDING!! Unless you're used to the specific building style of mapping out a HUGEEE build and getting it all done from the ground up like its easy as breathing, I'm someone who can't do that! Personally, I end up building things room by room, hallway by hallway, and I think what it is, is that you get the little hits of dopamine more frequently as you're finishing sections, rather than the whole project - OR if you try to build something so big that you can't finish building all in one go, then I think many people would be less likely to go back online and build it another day - as you didn't feel that sense of achievement!
Maybe I'm just missing the joy and whimsy of being proud of yourself halfway, or even a quarter-way through the build. Maybe next time I end up taking on a bigger project, I can step back and be proud of even starting it. That's something to think about, EVEN AWAY FROM MINECRAFT. I think this can be applied to quite a bit more. Huh.
I'll go and question things now, see if I need to change how I'm living my life or something less dramatic. We'll see.
Talk again soon, Mitty.
